Verdict

Frantical went close at Salisbury on his latest start but that useful effort came over 7f and he's now asked to tackle 1m2f. He does have winning form over that trip though and should be thereabouts. Pensax Lady tends to reserve her best for the all-weather and Shirataki, a good servant to Peter Hiatt, looks a likelier sort. However, MININGROCKS (NAP) should be ideally suited by trip and ground and showed his turn was close with a good run at Ayr recently. He's a guaranteed trailblazer who will take this field along at a rattle with Ger O'Neill aboard, the conditional already having partnered the selection to a couple of successes last term, including an Ayr victory in open handicap company.
