In depth

Verdict

This is sure to be an informative heat as there are numerous top stables set to be represented. John Gosden has to be feared with his juveniles and Sadlers Wells colt Adopted Hero will be of interest in time. However, the stable's newcomers tend to come on for the run and he may be best watched today. The same sentiments also apply to Roan Raider, Hollywest and Shield as they embark on their racing careers today. Therefore Bugatti Royale, the only one in the field yet to archive a rating, can put his experience to good use. Rated 88 on what he has shown so far, Paul Cole's charge sets a good standard for the rest and it would be no surprise to see him go on from here to make his mark in handicap company next season. Lucky Leo should have benefited from his debut but needs to improve to get past the TEAMtalk selection here.
