In depth

Verdict

Straw Bear and Tagula Blue come here in great form and must be considered, however we will take a chance on the lightly race One So Marvellous. A late developer from the Luca Cumani yard, this daughter of Nashwan put up an improved performance to get the better of Flamboyant Lad in driving finish at Leicester last time. The race itself lacked any depth, but the the first two were twelve lengths clear and with more improvement on the cards the selection may have got in here on a decent mark. Straw Bear is the obvious danger, he slaughtered some more experienced rivals at Haydock on heavy ground last time, and if he is just as effective on the different surface, he will make a bold bid to land the hat-trick. Tagula Blue was also mightily impressive when winning at Warwick last time and should be vying for a place. In a very open contest Ryan's Future can also go well with the assistance of Frankie, but One So Marvellous has more scope than most of these and is taken to land the spoils.
