      Verdict

Nantucket Sound looks the one to be on here with Charmatic, Kings Empire and Penzance the most likely dangers. The selection is a rare runner on the flat for Martin Pipe and he won well when defeating Karaoke last time. He is still open to plenty of improvement, and although he can be a difficult ride he has the services of Kieren Fallon and he steered him home successfully last time out. Kings Empire won well on the AW last time when defeating Countrywide Flyer back in October. She has not been seen out since but is well regarded by her connections, and she has to be respected. She has only had two runs but has run a little green on both occasions so might be worth taking on against some more experienced types here. Penzance has shown a fair level of form to date and the James Fanshawe yard have now found some form so he could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour. Charmatic has been a little unfortunate on her last two runs and she will not be far away if she has some luck in running, while Swift Sailing has been a little disappointing of late and is capable of better. This could prove to be quite an informative contest with a number of unexposed rivals in oppositions, but we will side with experience and make Nantucket Sound the nomination.
