Verdict

The David Evans-trained Threezedzz has been a revelation this season is worth persevering with whilst he remains in such good heart. Splodger Mac, the ultra-tough Nimello and top weight Kentucky King are singled out as the trio most likely to give the selection the most to do and are respected accordingly, while Sahaat has bits and pieces of form to give him place claims and he could go well at a price, assuming that the field is not reduced beyond the first four for each-way backers. Splodger Mac is holding his form well and rates as the biggest danger. The Neville Bycroft-trained gelding is still at the right end of the handicap and could still have a little more to offer. However, nothing makes as much appeal as Threezedzz, who has gone from strength-to-strength since he reverted to the racing on the Flat and should make a bold bid to shrug aside his penalty this evening.
