In depth

Verdict

INVER PARK scored at Ascot on his return to action. Mick Quinn’s charge won a novices' race over track and trip last year and will handle any cut in the ground. The Thin Blue Line also acts on soft going and is preferred to the more exposed Selected while Prince Of Bel Lir has a shout on his reappearance. Readman, Highest Ambition and Burscough all make their handicap debuts with the former preferred on last month’s comeback third at Newcastle.
