      Verdict

It was soft ground at Catterick when CAPTAIN SCOOBY (NAP) finished runner-up. He was ahead of Sir Geoffrey on that occasion and can go one better in this. The remainder have been competing on the all-weather and Eland Ally beat Give Us A Belle and Charlie Lad when scoring over today's trip at Wolverhampton last time while Lewisham finished second over 6f at the same track back in February but has yet to win on Turf in 17 attempts. Tinsill scored over track and trip in November and can race of a lower mark with an apprentice's allowance taken into consideration.
