Ortac Rock went close at Ayr last month but By Rights was still well beaten when runner-up at Goodwood three weeks ago. Reflation has been thereabouts over 6f for today's apprentice of late and Sir Geoffrey remains on a winning mark despite a 6lb rise for winning at Catterick last week.
