      Verdict

      Enigmatic Angel was too green to do himself justice when behind Bastille Day at Kempton nine days ago but will need have improved markedly to trouble TAWDEEA and Arthenus here. The latter has been placed in all three starts this year but the former has the greater scope and is improving with experience judged on his close-up second to Franklin D at Sandown last month. Clive Brittain's maidens often improve with time so Amazing Charm is best watched today.
