A potentially informative maiden where we'll side with Henry Cecil's newcomer WHIRLY DANCER. Gundaroo rates the biggest danger which brings L'Enchanteresse into the equation. Miss Smilla was sent off a short-priced favourite for her debut so is well worth monitoring on her return from a break whilst Nina Rose has shown enough to think that she can take an average maiden. Gypsy Jazz showed up prominently for a long way at Carlisle and shouldn't be ignored but there could be more improvement to come from the two once-raced fillies on the short-list. L'Enchanteresse came out on top at Newmarket but Gundaroo was short of room and could well reverse the form; there isn't a great deal to choose between the pair on that evidence. Fairy Promises makes some appeal on paper as does Henry Cecil's filly who is out of a winning Nashwan mare and Whirly Dancer may be able to enhance her own paddock value at the first attempt.
