        Verdict

        STRATH BURN is comfortably the form pick on his narrow defeat in the Group 1 Betfred Sprint at Haydock last summer and may not have enjoyed front-running tactics on his first start for Robert Cowell at Doncaster last month - he can get back on the winning trail here ahead of stablemate Kingsgate Native. This has been a poor race for three-year-olds in the past and Ornate, a close second in the Flying Childers last year, hasn't replicated that form this season and was around three lengths behind Hay Chewed in a similar race to this at Newmarket. Maljaa completed a hat-trick around this time last season and has been running well enough in handicaps to be considered but was behind Thesme at Goodwood and the latter is running so well that she can provide the main threat.
