In depth

Verdict

Diamond Dougal has been placed in both starts but the form is only modest and it’s difficult not to imagine that there won’t be something better among the newcomers. Buffer Zone is by Bated Breath but his dam stayed a lot further than this. Book of Dreams is a half-brother to four winners and is a possibility while Speak In Colours is worth a market check. QIANLONG has an interesting pedigree and Roger Varian has a good strike-rate with his two-year-olds here so the Dragon Pulse colt gets a tentative vote.
