In depth

Verdict

Endless Gold failed to prevent Rigoletto from landing a double when second at Newmarket last week. He should be in thereabouts again but has been raised 4lb and the less exposed ANIF is preferred. The latter was headed in the closing stages at Haydock on his handicap debut but there should be more to come from Charlie Hills’ charge in this. Maratha may also improve now handicapping for the first time while Comedy School and Maldonado drop down a grade and may finish closer as a consequence.
