Verdict

Willytheconqueror was highly tried after winning at Bath last summer but is probably best watched after a break. Total Power also has an absence to overcome but did win on ground with some give at Catterick last July and might handle conditions better than most. The other three have all been running on the all-weather and A MOMENTOFMADNESS showed the best form when scoring over 6f at Kempton last month. He's 4lb higher but that ability to stay further could be asset on this ground. Southwell winner Mysterious Look is preferred to Jazz Legend of the other pair.

A Momentofmadness 4-1 (9-1) Awkward start, led, raced freely, soon 6 lengths clear, hard driven when challenged inside final furlong, kept on well, won at Kempton 6f hcp (4) pol in Mar beating Gorokai (8-12) by 1/2l, 8 ran.
