Verdict

Amazing Blue Sky may struggle in today's ground and so could Desert Vision, who registered a double before appearing not to stay over a longer trip at York last time. Recent Pontefract winner Brigadoon is still improving but has yet to encounter a soft surface, while Count Ceprano may be too high in the weights now as a consequence of landing a double during the summer. BEST PROSPECT has won seven times on the Flat and four of those wins came over 1m2f in soft ground. He's 2lb lower than when winning at Ayr at this time last year and a chance is taken that Michael Dods' veteran still has another win in him.
