      Verdict

A similar scenario here to the first division of this maiden as LELAPS finished ahead of Key Appointment, who runs in the previous race, when second in the mud at Haydock on his debut. He's just preferred to Cubanita, who was also runner-up on her debut on soft ground at Salisbury. Anomaly made a promising start when third at Newmarket in September, but that was on a quick surface, while the short-list of newcomers to note includes Dark Stranger and the four fillies at the bottom of the racecard. The best of those could turn out to be Sequence, a half-sister to seven winners including the brilliant Sinndar.
