Mantras, Rifleman and Honan are the three expected to fight this out at the finish and the vote is given to Mantras. The selection should be suited be suited by the step-up in trip after running well over 2m3f here last time. Fire Ranger who runs in the previous race was ahead of him that day so if he goes well in the 3.35 race then that will give the claims of Mantras a boost. Honan is a stablemate to our selection but he ran disappointingly last time before being pulled-up and he is hard to put forward with any confidence. Rifleman has been running well but he is a frustrating sort who travels like a winner without going through with the effort. He is again likely to run his race but others are preferred. Gabor has been running consistently well and he is another with place claims, but we will stick with Mantras who gets the tentative vote.
