In depth

Verdict

A tricky opener with course and distance winner My Lady Grey much respected along with the returning Royal Claret. Ellens Way could figure if back to her best and Get An Oscar could be ready to take advantage of a lenient mark judged on her latest second at Plumpton. But we’re loathe to desert MEMPHIS BELL even she has yet to prove she is really suited by genuine soft ground. Evan Williams’ mare is, however, unbeaten under Isabel Williams.
