      Verdict

      Polar Champ who won a poor race last time out at Stratford, should win this contest as well as it is just as bad and despite his penalty he is impossible to oppose. Ashgar looks the only conceivable danger but he will have to brush up his jumping if he is going to be any threat haven fallen when sent off favourite last time out. The remainder will have to improve on all known form to score.
