Verdict

Nickelsonthedime is proving a consistent handicapper for connections and should run his race again. He's obvious shortlist material with trip and ground to suit but has to give weight to a couple who looked good last time. SANDALWOOD got his head in front here in a pretty modest affair but gave the impression that this longer trip may well suit. He receives 12lb from the topweight with Ben Godfrey's claim not factored in and can make the most of that differential as he does look on the upgrade. Jack The Farmer gained reward for his consistency when clearing away to score in some style at Worcester. He looks a real threat but a rise of 8lb for that win does make life harder. Wearapinkribbon is best of the remaining trio after posting an improved effort last time.
