Verdict

In Discussion looks the one to be on here, with Early Edition and Red Society the ones to chase him home. The selection looks up to defying top weight based on a decent debut over fences last time, when he put up a workmanlike performance to win with the promise of more to come for the experience. He has been raised 7lb as a result of that success but the manner of his win suggests he can cope with that. Red Society got the hang of the game at the second time of asking when winning over this trip in Class E company at Sedgefield last time, and he can again go well, with the ground unlikely to be an inconvenience. Of the remainder, Early Edition has ability but looks weighted up to the hilt. He can flatter to deceive in his races, but is probably good enough to keep on for minor honours over a trip that suits. Nevertheless we see the winner here as In Discussion.
