Verdict

A winner at Leicester in December, Chilli Romance has placed in all four starts since returning from her spring break but she’s much happier on a quicker surface. Evita Du Mesnil won a bumper on heavy going in France but she’ll need to improve on her recent form in maidens to make a winning start in handicaps. Binn Boru also needs to up her game but she’s stoutly-bred so this test should be ideal. POLA CHANCE has been staying on steadily in her two runs to date. Her form ties in closely with the best of the early-season juveniles and an opening mark of 98 may be underestimating her ability.
