Verdict

DAIS RETURN can follow up a recent success with Pilgrims Lane and Bolton Hall served up as the alternatives. Peter Bowen's runners during the summer are always noteworthy and this gelding caught the eye with a gutsy front-running display at Sedgefield. He could be capable of more today. Pilgrims Lane beat recent scorer, Nordwind, at Hereford. He did not jump with much fluency next time out. Bolton Hall has it to do on the figures though Keith Goldsworthy did have a winner at the weekend. Marquee was a maiden on the level though did shape as if he kept a little bit to himself under that code. Karinga Music is bred to be effective over this trip and could go well at the likely odds. Norwest was beaten by a cricket score at Chepstow though possibly is the best of the two Nigel Hawke runners. Earth Dream is a doubtful runner whilst the remainder appear to have had plenty of chances. Dais Return should produce exactly that for his backers.
