In depth

Verdict

A wide open contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the main protagonists look to be Cannon Fire, Catchthebug and Tell The Trees and the vote is given to Catchthebug. The selection was travelling well when falling last time out but prior to that he had won his last two races. He remains on a fair mark and under conditions that suit he is taken to regain the winning thread. Cannon Fire rates the main danger on his latest second behind Kristoffersen. He is sure to strip fitter here and off the same mark here he will not be far away. Tell The Trees has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder The Castilian has the ability to win this race off this mark but he does not like winning and in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Catchthebug.
