    Verdict

Kety Star showed improved form at Chepstow last month but, along with Ivorsagoodun, has yet to prove his effectiveness over this trip and preference is for Manoram. The selection hails from the in-form stable of Ian Williams and looks a progressive hurdler judged by his last time out success at Worcester over 2m4f. The slightly longer trip should not hinder the four-year-old, who remains favourably treated on a 9lb higher mark. Ivorsagoodun has always been expected to do better once tackling handicap-company but the daughter of Piccolo remains doubtful stayer over this sort of trip. Of more interest could be Dun An Doras, although he has his fair share of weight at present. Scarface has claims on his last time out second behind Monolith at Bangor but the winner scored a touch easily that day and, having been raised 3lbs since then, he does not make much appeal.
