In depth

Verdict

Won More Night can follow up at the expense of Day's Over, Easement and Hold Em. Having been a shade unfortunate at Worcester the time before last, Won More Night gained due reward when scoring over the course-and-distance next time, and although saddled with a penalty, the mare has enough experience to see off her rivals here. Anything Alan King sends out has to be respected, so newcomer Day's Over, whose dam is a full-sister to Deep Sensation, could be one to follow in time, especially when sent over fences. Easement has shaped really well on three starts to date, and will be all the better for this first outing since April, while ex-Irish pointer Hold Em also returns to the fray, having also been out of action since the spring. Philip Hobbs unleashes Electric Baloo who will need further than this on breeding, and for the winner we return to Won More Night.
