In depth

Verdict

Rothman easily won at Pau in January and has now been sent to Paul Nicholls. He could be anything but his form has yet to be franked and VOLT FACE is a viable alternative in this. He was a decent sort in bumpers and has run well in both starts over timber. Buckthorn Timothy has also won a bumper but unseated his rider on his hurdles bow and winning chaser Rody is in need of a confidence-booster.
