Verdict

Dylan Mouth was a Group 1 winner in Italy but doesn’t operate at that level nowadays. He won a decent handicap at Haydock last summer but was tailed off on his reappearance at Chester, though should strip fitter here. A similar comment applies to Second Step who was, unsurprisingly, no match for Crystal Ocean at Newbury but has proved a consistent performer in this grade and higher down the years. He’s now a seven-year-old but is still much respected, though doesn’t have the scope of CRIMSON ROSETTE. Charlie Fellowes’ filly improved again upped in trip in a Group 3 at Haydock three weeks ago, making favourite God Given battle all the way to the line. She loves to hear her hooves rattle and gets the nod to resume winning ways. Great Hall and Proposed are difficult to recommend on these terms.
