PASTORAL PLAYER can land this handicap at the main expense of Jack My Boy and Bagamoyo. The selection chased home Mister Hughies last month when he was only beaten a neck in a really competitive handicap here. The draw didn't do him any favours that day but he looks to be well boxed here and he can gain his compensation. Jack My Boy is also really well drawn and he has been in teriffic form. He beat Bagamoyo here last time and we are confident he can uphold the form. Confessional has been running well and he put in a career-best effort last time. He could be a player if he can translate that form to the turf. Side Glance has won over the course and distance and he is another to consider. Gene Autry was a beaten favourite at Haydock last week and he will need to bounce back to form to make his mark. There are plenty in with a chance here and the vote goes to Pastoral Player.
