Verdict

After completing a double at Haydock and Ayr, Ardmay couldn't handle the very heavy ground here two weeks ago and has a chance to atone on this quicker going. Campanology appeared to enjoy dropping back to 7f here last time and has more to do with a 4lb rise in this higher grade handicap while it's difficult to evaluate the form of Aquilonius as he has his first start for Stuart Williams following his victory at the Curragh for Jim Bolger. Legendary didn't run badly on his handicap debut here last month when the ground may have been softer than he would have liked while Devdas would have given the winner a fright at Haydock but for stumbling when challenging. ELKHART doesn't look an obvious selection but, after making his handicap debut off 88, he's slipped to 72 and has been racing over trips too far. His only victory came on fast ground and he can reward each-way support at a fair price.
