Verdict

Byron Flyer held off the attentions of Star Of The East to win over today’s trip at Doncaster recently. The latter re-opposes on better terms but was also beaten by Seafarer at Chepstow last year though Marcus Tregoning’s charge hasn’t raced since April. Drill is not the most consistent but capable on his day and went close at Newcastle last time while ANOTHER ECLIPSE won over 1m2f at Doncaster a fortnight ago. This looks no tougher, despite a 3lb rise, and the longer trip should not be a problem for David Simcock’s charge.
