Verdict

Spin King has what it takes to land this poor claimer, with Hoh Bleu Dee and Vienna's Boy others who can make the frame. Spin King has been steadily dropping through the weights after initially being rated 82 on the back of a Leicester maiden win last year. Being by Intikhab, but here will definitely suit him, and after running down the field in handicap company on his last couple of starts, he can take advantage of the drop in grade and win this over a trip that suits. Hoh Bleu Dee will probably not be far away. Sylvester Kirk's gelding is not well in with the selection on official ratings, but given that he gets a mile well, he will be suited by the testing going that should find out the stamina of a number of these and can go close. Vienna's Boy has been in consistent form of late, meaning that the handicapper has not been keen on dropping him despite not winning for 14 months. This ground will not be a problem for Richard Hannon's charge, who is weighted to go close here and can get in the money, but we will side with Spin King to score.
