        Verdict

        This will take some getting but Arthurian Flame looked certain to be suited by the trip when staying on over a mile here earlier this month. Damage Control couldn't catch King Carney at Nottingham but the winner landed a Listed contest at Pontefract on Monday. GRAIN OF SENSE missed the break and never got involved here earlier this month but was going on steadily once the penny dropped and with his stable in much better form he's taken to get off the mark. Princess Bride didn't get the run of the race here last month but wasn't beaten far and has to be on the shortlist.
