Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in good form including Secret Glance, who was racing over this trip for the first time when scoring at Chepstow though is up 8lb in this higher grade handicap. Iconic has won twice on very fast ground including at this level at Newbury last time for which she's only been raised 2lb. Athletic scored over the course and distance last summer and has mainly raced in better company. He's on a 10lb lower mark and if anywhere near his best would be concerned in the finish. Fawaareq only scrambled home at Beverley last month but the runner up scored at Chester next time giving the form a solid look. HOPE COVE scored on fast ground at Tapeta last year and his two runs in April were over 6f on the Rowley Course. He should have some improvement in him and can see off the threat of the lightly-raced Frenchman, who landed a Lingfield maiden before just touched off in a Goodwood handicap.
