Verdict

A tough one to call but Leoballero may represent slightly better value than the much improved Harrison Point and he looks the value call here. Tiber Tiger and Lygeton Lad are others that are respected on the pick of their efforts and are worth considering for each-way players - while it would also be dangerous to rule out Parnassian now that he has finally shrugged off his maiden tag. However, his victory came in a much weaker race than this and he looks to have too much to do at the weights today. Therefore, Leobarello, who has finished out of the frame only once from six previous starts, appears to be the more reliable option today. Officially there is nothing between the selection and Harrison Point at the moment and it will not be surprising if these two have a real battle between them as things unfold. However, Leobarello has some valuable course experience to his name and just edges the narrowest of votes. The gelding has gone well fresh in the past so there appears to no reason why he will not do himself justice in this company.
