A very interesting maiden looks set to go to Majestic Horizon, but the rest can pay to follow, including Sight Screen and Sri Angkasa, while the two newcomers are worth a mention as well. The two debutantes, Chatifa and Evening Encore, come from stables that have been churning out decent winners and should be placed to good effect before too long. They should however find lack of experience their undoing tonight, with Majestic Horizon the one that they all have to beat. The Godolphin colt looked all over the winner on his sole outing for David Loder at Newmarket last July, but failed to quicken close home in the rain-softened ground and went down narrowly to Tycoon Hall. That performance was good enough to see him shipped off to Dubai where a winter of the sun on his back will have brought him on a ton. He is fancied to score despite a break, with Sight Screen seen as the main danger. The Barry Hills' filly, a half-sister to Continent, has raced much too freely on all three outings so far, but will have Richard Hughes on board, no doubt with instructions to settle her as much as possible in the early stages. She was an encouraging third to Airwave on her Leicester debut last term despite her keenness and should win a maiden before too long. Sri Angkasa improved markedly from her debut to be a close second at Windsor, but has more to do, while Desert Prince is expected to need the run. All in all, this looks a suitable opportunity for Majestic Horizon.
