Verdict

A disappointing turnout considering Tha'Ir is making his seasonal debut and stepping up from 7f for the first time. The Godolphin colt boasts the highest rating but is no certainty to stay on breeding so a chance is taken on HOLY WARRIOR. Gay Kelleway's charge lost his unbeaten record in a Group 3 race in France last month behind Andre Fabre's Triple Threat but should be more at home in this company. Hoarding found Windhoek too good in a Listed race over track and trip a fortnight ago and the latter's stablemate, Mister Impatience, makes a quick reappearance after last week's well beaten second in the Chester Vase. There doesn't look much between that pair while maiden winner Jammy Guest is an unknown quantity at this level, though held in high regard.
