        Verdict

        Whipper Snapper needs to find a bit more if he's to score off his current mark and Tight Fit has been raised another 5lb for a narrow-margin victory at Sandown. Chantilly winner Marciano has his first start for new connections and has yet to race on fast ground while Dance With Dragons and Big Whiskey will do well to lower the colours of SHADY MCCOY. David Barron's progressive charge didn't get a run until the closing stages at Thirsk last time but won cosily once in the clear and can go in again despite an 8lb hike in the weights.
