Verdict

Mark Johnston has sent out the winner of this twice in the last five years and relies on Alta Lilea, second in a Listed race at Nantes in October, this season. But the one to beat is probably INTELLO, who has been sent over from Chantilly by Andre Fabre and looked a nice prospect when scoring over a mile at Longchamp and Maisons-Lafitte last season. Kerbaaj won his only start so far at Sandown in July and has more scope than Glory Awaits, King George River and Luhaif, and Race And Status could also be interesting. He should stay at least a mile this year, though might just need this.
