Verdict

Librettist may beat Home Affairs in a race dominated by newcomers, with Rhoslan worth a look in the market. Godolphin have introduced plenty of juvenile talent over the past month or so and another one rolls off the production line in Librettist. By Danzig, he is a half-brother to Dubai Destination, and holds an entry in the Gimcrack. He could make up into a top three-year-old next year and is taken to fulfil promise sooner rather than later. Home Affairs is related to useful mile and a quarter winner Castle Rising yet has been showing good speed over five and six furlongs at home. He can also be considered sharp enough to make his presence felt and is also earmarked for the Gimcrack. Will this be an early dress rehearsal then? Only time will tell, but the aforementioned duo may well dominate proceedings here. Jonny Murtagh is an eye-catching booking for Rhoslan who is sure to be one of, if not the best of Chris Dwyer's two-year-olds. He has been penciled in for the Betfair-Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar and is worth a look in the market. Librettist gets the vote.
