    Verdict

An interesting renewal with Utley clear on official ratings. The John Gosden charge is already a confirmed globetrotter having performed to a fair level in France, the US and Dubai. He also finished a decent third in the Free Handicap latest but it might be worth chancing CODEMASTER, handled with typical patience by Henry Candy. A runaway winner of a maiden here last term he ended the campaign with a fine runner-up effort in Redcar's Two-Year-Old Trophy, conceding 8lb to the winner, Ladies Are Forever. He looks set for a good season. I Love Me has only ever run at Newmarket and wasn't disgraced in posting a mid-division finish in the 1000 Guineas on her reappearance. Third in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes last term, she'll appreciate this drop in grade and should go well.
