    Verdict

Today's excellent card gets underway with the Wood Ditton, which generally throws up some decent animals. Michael Stoute often enters a top notch three-year-old in this contest so Maharat has to be respected, however we will go with the in form trainers and select Rawdon to beat Mustakhlas. The John Gosden trained colt is superbly bred by Singspiel out of Rebecca Sharp, both parents were successful in group one events, the dam in fact landed the Coronation Stakes, so this trip of a mile should be ideal.Mustakhlas is trained by John Dunlop who has introduced some top class performers in this race in the past. This Diesis colt is related to numerous winners and once again is perfectly bred for the trip. Maharat is a colt by Bahri out of a Mr Prospector mare and as with most of Mr Stoute's newcomers he should know his job. There are many others to watch out for in the betting market including David Loder's United Nations and Michael Jarvis's Marbush, but we will take a chance on Rawdon
