Verdict

John Dunlop's Elrasheed takes the eye on pedigree being a son of Red Ransom out of Swain mare and he has to be respected first time up but the yard's juveniles are often better for the run so he may be best watched in a maiden taken to go to another newcomer FRANKEL. Henry Cecil's Galileo colt should relish the mile trip on his debut before making his mark over further next term and he looks worth chancing on his racecourse debut. Jockey bookings suggest that Genius Beast, who is another newcomer, is the pick of Mahmood Al Zarooni's two runners ahead of the three times raced Dortmund, who disappointed at Newcastle on his most recent outing. John Gosden introduces another son of Galileo in Nathaniel and he is one to consider, especially if the market speaks in his favour, while David Simcock's Maher has the ability and experience but he probably needs to improve to trouble the judge.
