The three previous winners set a pretty high standard in this novices’ race. A debut winner at Newbury, Man Of The Night was then fourth in a Listed race at Salisbury before finishing second in a normally-informative conditions event. A repeat of his best form would make him to beat but ESHAASY will find this a lot easier than his latest run in the Solario at Sandown with the step up to a mile almost certain to suit. White Moonlight could be anything after making a winning start at Kempton but will need to improve. Never Alone, placed here and at Sandown, also runs in the Godolphin colours but looks the second string on jockey bookings.
