Verdict

Savitsky is confidently fancied to put his racing experience to good use and get the better of his five rivals here. Neville Callaghan's colt, an expensive purchase by Stravinsky, ran very green on his debut at the Craven Meeting here, but stayed on well to go down by a length and a half to Hunting Lodge. Outpaced early on, he was not knocked about in the closing stages by Kieren Fallon, and with that experience under his belt he is fancied to score here. Of the newcomers, Jeremy Noseda's Kafuwain, a Mark Of Esteem half-brother to former Middle Park winner Fard, appeals as a likely type, and with Richard Hannon's juveniles in good form the market may reflect the chances of Lord Links, a second foal whose half-brother won twice as a juvenile.
