In depth

Verdict

Paco Boy and Red Rumour are both unexposed and should run well however Wid sets the standard and she is fancied to get off the mark for the first time this season. The selection ran well in defeat last time out at Headquarters and since she is proven on any ground, she looks sure to run well. John Dunlop's daughter of Elusive Quality is the highest-rated horse in the line-up so whilst she is slightly worse off at the weights in this race compared to a handicap, her class is expected to see her through. Paco Boy missed an intended engagement at Lingfield on Monday and should run well here given the way that he demolished a decent enough field at Newbury last time out. Red Rumour was similarly impressive last time out over this course and distance and whilst he will get further in time he looks a major player today. It looks a tough ask for Baharah to win in this company the first time that he encounters a racecourse however the market will help guide. At a price Taladavil could run better than his likely odds suggest, however it is Wid who gets the vote.
