CESARE is given the vote ahead of Mutajarred and Bushman. The James Fanshawe trained gelding has won nine of his twenty four races to date. He has been a great servant to the yard and won on his seasonal reappearance at Ascot. Since then he has run well in defeat in Group races. If this was a handicap he would be twelve pounds well in so if at his best he will be difficult to oppose. Mutajarred had been progressive as a three-year-old and although he has continued to improve with age he is now finding it difficult getting his head in front. His last win came in a conditions race on the all weather last May and he will need to raise his game if he is to trouble the judge. Bushman landed back to back races last season and as a result he jumped up in the ratings. He has performed well in listed class races in the past although his form of late has been below par and for that reason he should be treated with caution. Cesare is the form horse in the race and is so well in at the weights he will be very difficult to beat.
