Verdict

It could pay to look no further than top weight given GARRICK was narrowly beaten over today’s trip at Windsor last time and John Gosden boasts an outstanding strike rate on the Tapeta here. The progressive Light Of Joy defied a 4lb rise to win over track and trip recently and has been raised the same amount again while Trading Punches was runner-up here before beaten over a longer trip at Kempton. Shanghai Silver has looked in the handicapper’s grip since landing a double on the all-weather earlier this year while Rockwood remains 11lb higher than when scoring at Musselburgh and Prying Pandora is upped in class.
