Tomasino gets the nod over the Irish challenger Milton Star, with The Tile Baron, Mr Midaz and Coustou others worthy of a mention. Tomasino emphasised the wellbeing of the Reveley stable at present when staying well to beat Le Biassais at Kelso three weeks ago. A middle-distance winner on the Flat, the six-year-old showed a fine turn of foot when opening his account over hurdles, and may not be badly treated here, given the manner of his victory. Milton Star finished second to Brave Vision here on Saturday and although yet to win over hurdles, has gone close on more than one occasion and the booking of Tony Dobbin catches the eye. The Tile Baron has been off the track since winning a long-distance race at Cartmel in May 2003 and is best watched, while Mr Midaz has not been seen since June. Coustou steps up from selling company and has it to do, and so we return to Tomasino as the answer.
