      Verdict

No recent winning form on offer but VECHEKA went close over track and trip on his all-weather debut and gets a tentative vote. Hadley finished in front of Chip Or Pellet when third in a plating race at Thirsk while Maggi May and Tinsill are usually thereabouts at this lowly level though the former has yet to win. Harbour Lightning and Mitchum continue to slide down the weights but don’t look any nearer to getting their heads back in front.
